A New Year

Friends, it's a new year.

Assuming the predictions of the Mayans are false (and I think that's a safe assumption; let's admit, they didn't make it real far) we are going to be seeing quite a few changes. I'm going to run over, briefly, the two most important ones.

CS:GO The AWP is ugly, we can throw flaming bottles at one another and the deagle doesn't spin. As far as dedicated servers go, we aren't real sure how it's going to work. As far as gameplay goes, we aren't either. However, I can tell you this: good or bad, I'm buying it. I've been playing CS:S for over a decade now, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I look forward to seeing you in servers once again.

Website Mufasa and Kami have been working, for quite a long time, on a new website. It looked pretty damned good the last time I saw it, and I have am confident that it's going to help us usher in a new age with TDD. We've been around for a while; I don't see us going away.

I see a lot of things that we can change; things we can do better, things we can do better and problems we can avoid this time around. As always, this community will be based on friendship and good cheer. I intend, over  the next few weeks, to sit down and start re-writing things from the beginning. Not saying that I'm going to change what we are; my goal is to redefine loose organization that we have so that it makes sense. Game divisions, specific admin groups, overall admin groups, financial accountability, the way we add members to our community, and maybe more importantly, the way we remove them.

Over the last few years I've noticed a trend, and ArC has observed this as well, that most "family" communities, or gaming "families" are full of entitled dicks who couldn't tell their ass from a hole in the ground. Some ideas on how to do things, and least on the admin side, have occurred to me. Working with Kami and ArC, I'll be outlining some of these things and making it clear from the get-go, both to members and outsiders, that while we may be close, but we aren't going to abuse others with blind nepotism as our excuse.

Ideas for the way things for be as we spin back up? Post in the forums. Let me know.

Medals are implented!
Website

Hiya peeps!

I have worked on the Medals for quite some time now and found a way to display them on the forums under your name!

These medals fit right in on the site:

You cannot set these medals for yourself, but they can be awarded to you!

i got a whole list of medals now, which you can all see over here, there's a link on the menu side too!

The forums will display 5 medals randomly from the ones that you have earned (so if you got 6 it will only show 5 but rotate each time you refresh the page!)

Now, i still need a tiny bit of help finishing discriptions and goals for each medal, so if anyone could lend a hand.. err brain. please!

oh and if you worry obout the medals in this piccy, 3 were only for testing :D

 Pierce.

It is said, easy to sit up and take notice. What is difficult is standing up and taking action.

Today we are celebrating the fact that someone stood up.

A very humble man took that action. We are celebrating enthusiasm, commitment and dedication to the clan, without even thinking about the cost that it will cause him. As sign of appreciation in behalf of the people that you help on TDD L4D(Left 4 Dead) as your Minions we say thanks to you.

Today, -|TDD|-Rabbit is being awarded the Medal Of Honor.
Wear this medal with pride, for you are the first to achieve it!
Congratulations!

Ok peeps, this is for real!

We will be supporting the following games:

Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War® II

And

Left 4 Dead

Leaders for the corresponding sections will be:

DoWII, -|TDD|-SN0WieMAN

L4D, -|TDD|-Fried Tofu

These members will try to recruit old members into playing these games and getting new blood in the clan!

Still, all joining people will go trough Kamikaze's approval, with a bit more influence from the above leaders.

added a new rule for people who want to join: which game they want to join for

added the 2 forums to supported games

removed WoW from supported games list

Any questions, address Pierce.
